Essay #11:

Could Wisdom have Compassion?

King Solomon wrote something such as: (Proverbs 9:1) "Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table..."

Remembering this portion of holy scripture, I have often wished that it had said something more akin to "Wisdom hath builded her house...she hath saved her beasts..." instead.

Something such as that would seem to be of more ethical/moral/righteousness/forgiveness/ and mercy value since it would be kinder to the animals.

Also, rather than to murder some poor defenseless animal or animals; as such "killing her beasts" would effectively speaking, seem to be, it would seem to be more righteously edifying to rescue some poor endangered life-threatened animal or animals, instead.

Almighty God please help each and every one of us needing help.
